My enthusiasm for nature and arts stemmed from the several inches of land in my grandfather’s house. My grandfather’s garden is small but full of vigor and vitality, which is also the cradle of my inspiration for art creation. As a famous writer says, “The only way to get deep insight into the heart of forest is to find a streamlet in it and walk along its upstream or downstream”. My grandfather’s garden is just the “streamlet”. At my early age, Influenced by my exquisite grandfather who enjoys growing plants and painting Chinese Painting, I progressively developed boundless imagination in nature and arts and built up artistic foundation by using brushes and daily articles such as cloth, plastic and cardboard sheets to record the itty-bitty moments and fleeting feelings in my childhood.
